The Custodian works under the general supervision of the Director of Operations and must be comfortable working independently in a busy sports and event environment.
What We're Looking For

- Change brushes, pads, rollers, belts, and other equipment attachments as needed.
- Collect, remove, and replace trash and recycling liners and transport waste to designated collection areas.
- Assist with event setup and teardown, including moving and arranging furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Move and assemble heavy furniture, equipment, and other materials as directed.
- Maintain exterior entrances and surrounding areas.
- Remove snow from building entrances, steps, sidewalks, and other areas using hand tools; apply anti-skid materials as needed.
- Make initial attempts to unclog toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, and drains.
- Identify and report maintenance issues such as damaged doors, lights, plumbing fixtures, furniture, and other facility concerns.
- Contact the Director of Operations regarding urgent maintenance or safety issues.
- Follow all established safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals, bodily fluids, spills, and other workplace hazards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
