Custom Applicator

Overview

Your expertise will help clients maintain healthy landscapes, crops, and properties while adhering to strict safety protocols. Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles, farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools to apply pesticides, herbicides, and other chemical agents in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Prepare and calibrate chemical application equipment to ensure precise delivery of products
• Follow all pesticide management guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals
• Conduct pest control treatments using integrated pest management techniques tailored to each client’s needs
• Perform confined space entry safety procedures when required for specific application sites
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment plans, answer questions, and provide recommendations for ongoing pest control or landscaping needs
• Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, safety protocols followed, and equipment maintenance

Experience

• Proven outdoor work experience in lawn care, landscaping, agriculture or related fields
• Familiarity with pesticide application knowledge including pest control chemical handling and entomology fundamentals
• Knowledge of ladder safety procedures and ladder use for elevated applications
• Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools operation
• Experience operating company vehicles safely and confidently on various terrains
• Strong understanding of safety protocol adherence including respiratory protection and confined space entry procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to clients

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
