About the role

This role involves preparing, reviewing, and submitting customs declaration documents, entry forms, and supporting documents to the Bureau of Customs and relevant Philippine government agencies. You will calculate and verify duties, taxes, and fees payable, ensure accurate and timely payment and settlement, and coordinate clearance for vehicle and general cargo shipments including Toyota Hilux and cross-border export/import consignments, ensuring compliance with PH, SG, and MY trade regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit all customs declaration documents, entry forms, and supporting documents to the Bureau of Customs and relevant Philippine government agencies
• Calculate and verify duties, taxes, and fees payable; ensure accurate and timely payment and settlement
• Coordinate clearance for vehicle and general cargo shipments — including Toyota Hilux and cross-border export/import consignments — ensuring compliance with PH, SG, and MY trade regulations
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, port authorities, and internal operations teams to resolve clearance delays, inspections, or queries
• Maintain and update records of all transactions, declarations, and permits; ensure full traceability and audit readiness
• Monitor changes in customs laws, trade policies, and import/export requirements; advise management on compliance impacts and procedural updates
• Process permits, certificates, and regulatory approvals required for vehicle shipments and cross-border movement
• Resolve customs discrepancies, duty assessments, and documentation issues efficiently to avoid shipment hold-ups

About you

• Licensed Customs Broker — valid PRC license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (Philippines)
• Proven experience in import/export customs clearance, ideally with experience in vehicle or heavy cargo shipments
• Deep knowledge of Philippine Customs Modernization Act, tariff schedules, and cross-border trade procedures
• Familiarity with port and cargo processing in Bulacan, Manila, and major PH entry/exit points
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight shipment deadlines
• Proficient in standard office and customs filing systems
• Honest, reliable, and able to handle sensitive documentation and financial information
• Preferred: Experience handling automotive / vehicle imports and exports
• Preferred: Knowledge of trade between Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia
• Preferred: Established working relationships with BOC offices in Central Luzon / Manila
