Custom Builder

MIRO Industries is hiring a full-time Custom Supports Builder, in our Heber City, UT, warehouse. This position works 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. You get a set schedule, keeping your nights and weekends free, and holidays off!

Pay starts at $18.00 per hour. As a Builder in MIRO’s Custom department, you are part of a team that builds and assembles custom roof supports. This process includes reading a blueprint, using a saw to cut metal struts to the appropriate lengths, and using power tools to build metal supports anywhere from 20 inches to 10 feet long, weighing up to 80 lbs. each. After the supports are built, they are broken down and properly packaged, wrapped, palleted, and labeled to ship the job to the customer.

We'll train you to read and apply blueprints, build custom supports, and pack and ship each order to MIRO's specifications.

A Custom Support Builder should be:

• A team player
• Flexible, since work assignments may change frequently
• Willing to drive a forklift (we'll train you)
• Comfortable on your feet all day on a concrete floor
• Able to lift 5060 lbs. continuously throughout the day
• Tolerant of temperature swings

MIRO places high priority on safety and Lean production. Each Custom Builder is expected to be fully engaged in implementing safe practices and helping the warehouse reach its Lean (also called 5S) goals. MIRO will provide Lean training.
