About the role:

Som Imaging Informatics Pvt. Ltd. (Somnetics) is looking for a Principal Full Stack Developer / Custom Software Engineer with 8–10+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Python to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The role involves full-stack development, solution architecture, API integration, performance optimization, and technical leadership, along with integrating Agentic AI, pre-built AI services, and third-party APIs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop scalable web applications using Java, Python, Node.js, React.js, and Angular.js.
2. Design end-to-end architecture for enterprise applications.
3. Integrate Agentic AI, APIs, and third-party services.
4. Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and REST/GraphQL APIs.
5. Perform technical design, code reviews, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
6. Collaborate with Product, BA, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
7. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
8. Follow Agile/Scrum, SDLC, Git, CI/CD, and development best practices.

Technical Skills

1. Backend : Java, Python, Node.js
2. Frontend : React.js, Angular.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
3. Database : SQL / NoSQL
4. APIs : REST / GraphQL
5. Cloud & DevOps : AWS / Azure / GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (preferred)
6. Tools : Git, Postman, VS Code
7. Exposure to AI-enabled application development / Agentic AI integration will be an advantage.
