Stephen Gamble, Inc., a high-end custom wood flooring and architectural millwork company, is seeking an experienced Custom Woodworker/Millworker to join our team.

We are looking for someone with hands-on woodworking experience who is comfortable working in a professional wood shop and understands how to safely and accurately operate woodworking machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate molders, wide-belt and other shop sanders, table saws, planers, jointers, and other woodworking machinery
• Safely and efficiently use hand and power tools
• Set up and adjust woodworking equipment for accurate production
• Mill, cut, shape, sand, and prepare custom wood components
• Read measurements, drawings, specifications, and cut lists
• Inspect material for quality, dimensions, and consistency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow established shop procedures and safety requirements
• Work as part of a team to meet production schedules and quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous professional woodworking or millwork experience strongly preferred
• Experience operating molders and woodworking machinery
• Experience with sanders and hand/power tools
• Strong measuring and basic woodworking math skills
• Ability to produce accurate, consistent work
• Knowledge of different wood species and lumber is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Dependable and able to work in a production-oriented shop environment
• Ability to safely lift and handle lumber and wood products

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the level of precision required for high-end custom wood products.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Location: Aiken, SC
