Custom WordPress Developer (Remote)

We are looking for a Custom WordPress Developer with strong hands-on experience in WordPress development, customization, and custom functionality. The ideal candidate should be able to work on business websites, WooCommerce stores, custom WordPress solutions, and third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.

* Build responsive and user-friendly websites using WordPress.

* Develop and customize WordPress themes and child themes.

* Develop custom WordPress plugins based on project requirements.

* Create custom functionality using PHP, WordPress hooks, actions, filters, and APIs.

* Customize existing themes and plugins without affecting core functionality.

* Develop custom post types, taxonomies, fields, templates, and dynamic functionality.

* Work with Elementor, Divi, WooCommerce, and other popular WordPress tools.

* Develop and customize WooCommerce functionality, including products, checkout, payments, shipping, and order-related features.

* Integrate third-party APIs and external services with WordPress.

* Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress errors, bugs, performance issues, and compatibility problems.

* Optimize websites for speed, security, responsiveness, and SEO-friendly development.

* Work with databases and perform basic MySQL queries when required.

* Handle WordPress migrations, backups, updates, and server-related troubleshooting.

* Ensure websites are compatible across major browsers and devices.

* Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver projects according to requirements.

* Review existing code and improve functionality, performance, and maintainability.

Required Skills

* 2–4 years of professional WordPress development experience.

* Strong knowledge of PHP, WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

* Good understanding of WordPress architecture and database structure.

* Experience developing custom plugins and themes.

* Strong understanding of WordPress hooks, actions, filters, shortcodes, and custom functions.

* Experience with WooCommerce and its customization.

* Experience with REST APIs and third-party API integrations.

* Knowledge of MySQL and WordPress database management.

* Experience with Git/version control is preferred.

* Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to understand requirements and independently develop custom solutions.

Timings: 9am to 6pm (mon to sat)
