At The Lines Company (TLC), we’ve been powering the King Country for nearly 100 years. As a community-owned business, we’re all about people — our customers, our team, and our region.
Whether it’s supporting local homes, farms, or schools, we work around the clock to keep the lights on and the region running. We offer job stability, competitive pay, and a workplace that values balance, development, and community.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either:
- an experienced administrator, or
- a school leaver / early-career candidate with the right attitude who’s keen to learn and grow in the electricity industry.
If you’re organised, enjoy helping people, and take pride in doing things right — we can teach you the rest.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring customer enquiries, fault response, invoicing, and administrative processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
You’ll work closely with field staff, the Control Room, Finance, retailers, and customers to ensure TLC meets its service, safety, and compliance obligations.
You’ll also participate in the after-hours dispatch roster (once trained), helping ensure faults are managed safely, professionally, and with clear communication.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy juggling a variety of tasks, and take pride in accuracy and customer experience, this could be the role for you.
