Customer and Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator

DataGene is an independent, industry-owned organisation supporting genetic improvement and better decision-making in the Australian dairy industry. We manage and connect industry data, deliver national genetic evaluations and genomic services, and develop tools and services that help farmers and industry partners improve productivity, profitability and long-term sustainability.

We are looking for a Customer and Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator to join our Stakeholder Relations team.

This is a varied, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems and keeping things running smoothly. You will be a key point of contact for DataGene’s customers, member organisations and industry stakeholders, providing responsive support by phone and email and helping ensure enquiries are followed through to resolution.

You will also support pedigree and genotype submissions for genomic ABV orders, contribute to customer and stakeholder communications, assist with ABV releases and invoicing, and provide coordination and secretariat support across a range of industry activities.

We are looking for someone with:

• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• strong organisational and time-management capability
• a professional, responsive and customer-focused approach
• confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders
• the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• a good understanding of agriculture, ideally dairy

Knowledge of genetics, breeding values, genomic services or the Australian dairy industry would be highly regarded.
