What they need
Customer & Workplace Operations Executive
Location: Kingsland, Auckland
About the Role
Master of Ceremonies (Pals & Franky’s) is on a mission to shake up the drinks industry through originality, innovation and bold thinking.
We’re looking for a Customer & Workplace Operations Executive to join our team in a broad and varied role spanning customer service, logistics, finance and workplace operations.
A big part of the role is making sure customer orders get where they need to be, when they need to be there. You’ll manage orders from receipt through to delivery, working closely with our warehouse, transport providers, production, finance and sales teams. Along the way, you’ll keep things accurate, meet key daily deadlines, solve problems quickly and make sure our customers receive a brilliant experience.
You’ll also lend a hand to our finance team with day-to-day accounts administration and take ownership of keeping our Kingsland office organised, welcoming and well stocked.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and on time, coordinating deliveries with our warehouse and logistics partners.
- Monitor inventory availability and complete stock reconciliations to maintain accurate 3PL stock records.
- Work closely with production, procurement, finance and sales to keep everything running smoothly.
- Reconcile debit advices and check logistics and warehousing charges.
- Support accounts administration, including processing invoices, investigating discrepancies and maintaining accurate records.
- Take ownership of the customer service inbox, coordinating responses and making sure no enquiry goes unanswered.
- Resolve customer enquiries professionally, efficiently and in the Pals tone of voice.
- Update and distribute sales reports.
- Keep our Kingsland office organised, welcoming and well supplied.
- Manage office supplies, kitchen and fridge replenishment, shopping orders and office Pals stock.
- Build great supplier relationships, manage office costs sensibly and look for better ways of doing things.
About You
Don’t worry if you haven’t worked in customer logistics or workplace operations before. If you’re organised, enjoy helping people and take pride in getting things right, we think you'd be a great fit. We can always teach you the technical side.
You’ll probably enjoy this role if you:
- Love being organised and getting the details right.
- Stay calm when priorities change.
- Enjoy solving problems rather than passing them on.
- Often find yourself thinking, “There must be a better way to do this.”
- Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Like being the person others know they can rely on.
The people who thrive in this role get real satisfaction from bringing order to busy days, improving how things are done and sorting out problems before they become bigger ones.
Skills & Experience
You may have experience in customer service, administration, logistics, supply chain or operations, along with:
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- High attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel and business systems.
- The ability to balance multiple priorities without losing accuracy.
- A continuous improvement mindset.
Experience with FMCG, ERP systems or inventory management would be a bonus, but it isn’t essential. If you’re reading this and thinking, “I could probably do that, but I’m not sure I have enough experience,” we’d still love to hear from you. We know the right person won’t necessarily tick every box.
Why Join Pals?
You’ll join a supportive team where good ideas are genuinely welcomed. If you spot a better way of doing something, we’ll encourage you to speak up and help make it happen.
Benefits and perks include:
- Flexible working arrangements, including 2pm Friday finishes.
- Your birthday off.
- Competitive salary.
- Free snacks and monthly team lunches.
- Free Pals and Pals merch, of course!
Our Hiring Process
As part of your application, we’ll ask you to answer a few short questions about your experience and how you approach problem-solving.
If you enjoy building expertise, improving processes and being someone others can rely on, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re an Equal Opportunity Employer

Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
