The overall objective of the job is to act as the technical bridge between customers, Sales, Product Management and R&D , translating the needs of high-growth markets such as data centers and semiconductor into fit-for-purpose power protection solutions. This role has responsibility for application expertise, solution architectures, customer value propositions and market insight that shape future product innovation and business growth. This role would suit someone with strong experience and an established network across data center, semiconductor or similar high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales with fit-for-purpose technical solutions for customers in data center, semiconductor, and other high-growth, mission-critical markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, consultants, EPCs, contractors and channel partners across data center, semiconductor and other high-growth markets.
  • Engage early in customer projects to understand uptime, redundancy and scalability requirements, and help influence specifications and solution design.
  • Translate customer requirements into differentiated technical solutions and compelling value propositions aligned with business strategy.
  • Develop and maintain standards, methodologies, tools, best practices, reference architectures, and reusable application frameworks to ensure consistency and engineering excellence.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for strategic customer applications, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across Sales, Product Management, and R&D.
  • Capture market trends, customer needs, and application requirements, translating them into actionable insights that support business growth and future product development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Energy Systems, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in power protection, UPS systems, energy storage, power conversion, or related applications.
  • Strong understanding of customer applications, solution architectures, market segments, and channel dynamics, ideally within data center, semiconductor, or other mission-critical environments.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into differentiated technical solutions and compelling customer value propositions.
  • Experience supporting Sales organizations through technical consulting, customer engagement, and channel enablement.
  • Experience developing standards, methodologies, tools, and best practices within a technical organization.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working across customers, channel partners, Sales, Product Management, and R&D.
  • Experience working with or supplying hyperscale, colocation or enterprise data centers, semiconductor fabs, or other high-growth, high-availability facilities.
  • An established network across data center operators, semiconductor manufacturers, consulting engineers, EPCs or channel partners is highly desirable.
  • Nice to have - Knowledge of international standards and regulations, including grid codes and utility operator requirements (e.g., NERC, ERCOT, Fingrid, IEEE 2800).

If you want to work in a fast paced, high-growth business at the forefront of power protection for data centers, semiconductor and other mission-critical markets - we look forward to hearing from you.
