Location: Pavilions Shopping Centre, Swords
Start Date: 28 August 2026
Duration: Approximately 5 weeks
Pay rate per hour: €14.15 | 20-40 hours

Hours:

• Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat & Sun: 9:00am to 6:00pm
• Thu & Fri: 9:00am to 9:00pm

About the Role

Bidvest Noonan is seeking friendly and customer-focused individuals to join their team on a temporary basis during a planned maintenance project. The successful candidates will play an important role in assisting visitors with wayfinding and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the duration of the works.

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Assistant:

• Welcome and assist customers visiting the shopping centre.
• Provide clear directions and guidance to alternative routes during lift maintenance works.
• Support customers in locating stores, services, entrances, exits, and facilities.
• Respond to general customer queries in a friendly and professional manner.
• Monitor designated areas to ensure customers can navigate the centre safely and efficiently.
• Escalate any customer concerns or issues to centre management when necessary.

Key Requirements of the Customer Assistant:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to remain professional in a busy public environment.
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to working hours.
• Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or reception experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
