Customer Assistant Role for the Service Industry

Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Customer Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service, answering queries, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their journey with us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner
• Provide product information and recommendations based on customer needs
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in person, over the phone, or via email/chat
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Restock shelves, maintain merchandise displays, and ensure the store is clean and organized
• Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer service, safety, and security
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet sales and service targets

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service or retail role preferred but not essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, positive, and helpful attitude
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift weight around 40 pounds
• Basic math and computer skills
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.93 - $21.19 per hour
