Customer Care Associate

Job Summary

The position assists families throughout the inurnment process while ensuring that church procedures, documentation, and memorial protocols are properly followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist families and visitors with warmth, courtesy, and respect.
• Explain columbarium services, procedures, requirements, and available options to clients.
• Coordinate schedules for inurnments, blessings, memorial services, and related activities.
• Assist families with the completion and processing of necessary documents and requirements.
• Coordinate with priests, church personnel, engravers, maintenance staff, and other concerned parties.
• Prepare and verify inurnment records, niche assignments, and related documentation.
• Assist during inurnment ceremonies and ensure that the proper procedures are observed.
• Respond to inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Follow up with families regarding pending requirements, schedules, engraving, and other services.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client and deceased-person records.
• Handle sensitive situations with patience, empathy, and discretion.
• Uphold the Catholic/church values and standards of the institution in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Customer service or administrative experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful when dealing with grieving families.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Comfortable working in a church, memorial, or funeral-service environment.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, or special church occasions when required
