Customer Development Associate

Zinc Communications is looking for a motivated Customer Development Associate to join our San Diego team. This position is designed for someone who wants to gain practical experience in customer engagement, business development, sales, and team operations while working in a collaborative environment.

You’ll work directly with customers, learn how to communicate service solutions effectively, and gain exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities that help a team perform successfully. As you develop your skills, you’ll have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to team initiatives.

The Customer Development Associate role combines customer interaction with hands-on business experience. You’ll learn our products and processes, communicate with customers, support daily team activities, and work closely with leadership to understand what it takes to keep operations organized and customer-focused.

What You’ll Do as a Customer Development Associate

• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner and create a positive experience during every interaction.
• Learn TruConnect products, services, and available options so you can confidently communicate information to customers.
• Ask questions, listen carefully, and identify customer needs to provide relevant service recommendations.
• Explain products and service options clearly while answering customer questions and addressing concerns.
• Support customers through enrollment and other steps while ensuring information is communicated accurately.
• Assist with daily team activities, customer follow-ups, and organizational priorities to help keep operations running smoothly.
• Work alongside teammates and leadership to develop business, communication, customer service, and leadership skills.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
