Customer Engineer (Technical Sales & Project Coordination)

Position: Customer Engineer

Industry: Cryogenics & Industrial Equipment Manufacturing

Location: Taman Perindustrian Pusat Bandar Puchong, Selangor

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Employment Type: 12-month contract with PERSOL

Salary: RM5,000 – RM7,000 (based on experience & skills) + Statutory Contributions + Leave Entitlement + Medical Coverage

What You'll Be Doing

Technical Sales & Proposal Support

• Prepare technical quotations, commercial proposals, and tender submissions
• Review customer specifications, engineering drawings, and project requirements
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Costing teams
• Support technical clarification and proposal revisions throughout the sales cycle

Customer & Order Management

• Act as the key liaison between customers and internal teams
• Monitor order progress, manufacturing schedules, and delivery commitments
• Provide timely updates to customers on project milestones and delivery status
• Resolve customer inquiries and coordinate issue resolution

Customer Success & After-Sales Support

• Handle warranty claims and RMA cases professionally
• Coordinate investigations with Engineering, QA/QC, and Production teams
• Ensure prompt customer communication and issue closure
• Build long-term customer relationships through excellent service support

Marketing & Event Coordination

• Coordinate exhibitions, industry events, and trade shows
• Support booth planning, logistics, marketing materials, and product demonstrations
• Work with Sales and Engineering teams to showcase suitable technologies and products
• Assist with event lead generation and post-event follow-up activities

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, QA/QC, Procurement, and Logistics teams
• Ensure customer requirements are accurately communicated internally
• Drive smooth project execution and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, Process, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in: Technical Sales Support, Customer Engineering, Project Coordination, Sales Operations, Application Engineering or Manufacturing Coordination
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
• Customer-focused with strong follow-up and coordination capabilities

Experience from the following industries is highly preferred:
