What they need

About This Position At Henkel, you can build on a strong legacy and continuously shape the future through your ideas, skills, and ambition. Joining our Adhesive Technologies business means becoming part of a global leader in adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings.

Following Henkel's acquisition of Seal For Life Industries in 2024, the STOPAQ® business in Stadskanaal continues to deliver industry-leading corrosion prevention and sealing solutions for critical infrastructure worldwide. At our Stadskanaal manufacturing site, we produce innovative solutions under the STOPAQ® and EASYQOTE® brands, helping customers protect and extend the lifecycle of critical assets in industries such as energy, oil & gas, renewable energy, and industrial manufacturing. Our technologies improve asset reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and provide long-term protection in some of the world's most demanding environments.

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Customer Excellence Coordinator to join our Customer Excellence team in Stadskanaal. In this role, you will serve as a key link between customers, sales, production, logistics, and finance, ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the entire order-to-delivery process. You will play a vital role in supporting our global customer base by coordinating orders, managing export documentation, organizing transportation, and driving operational excellence across the supply chain.

What you will do

  • Manage customer quotations, order processing, and related administrative activities.
  • Enter and maintain sales orders in SAP/ERP systems and ensure accurate order documentation.
  • Coordinate order fulfillment activities with production, warehouse, purchasing, and logistics teams.
  • Organize domestic and international transportation and monitor shipment progress.
  • Create and process invoices and support customer billing activities.
  • Prepare and manage export documentation for international shipments.
  • Process Letters of Credit (LCs) and support international trade transactions.
  • Collaborate with Finance on debtor management and payment follow-up.
  • Handle customer returns, claims, and issue resolution activities.
  • Inform customers about product availability and delivery schedules.
  • Support customer training events and maintain communication with certified applicators.
  • Prepare certifications, passes, customer records, and customer-related documentation.
  • Provide commercial and operational support to sales managers and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing customer service and operational excellence.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Commercial Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, order management, or a similar customer-facing operational role.
  • Experience within an international manufacturing, industrial, or export-oriented environment is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience with international trade documentation, export processes, and payment methods such as Letters of Credit is an advantage.
  • High level of accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience is considered a plus.

Some perks of joining Henkel

  • Competitive salary aligned with your experience and qualifications.
  • Annual bonus opportunity.
  • 13th-month salary.
  • 35 vacation days.
  • Attractive pension scheme and additional employee benefits.
  • Opportunities for professional development within a global organization.
  • International exposure through collaboration with customers and colleagues worldwide.
  • Inclusive and supportive working environment where your contributions make a real impact.

At Henkel, we come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences. We believe the uniqueness of all our employees is the power in us.
