Ivy Mane Studio is a creative workshop studio centered around hands-on making, community, and thoughtfully designed experiences. We’re opening our new Madison location and looking for a friendly, organized, and outgoing Customer Experience Associate to join our opening team.

This role will be one of the faces of Ivy Mane Madison. You’ll help welcome guests into the studio, answer questions, manage pickups and purchases, and make sure everyone who walks through the door has a great experience.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with people, communicates well, and can confidently handle the little details that keep a busy studio running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests and help them get oriented when they arrive
• Check guests in for workshops, Craft Club, private events, and other programming
• Answer questions about upcoming workshops, private parties, memberships, and studio offerings
• Assist with in-studio purchases, bookings, and project pickups
• Respond to basic customer questions in person, by phone, and digitally
• Help guests choose workshops, projects, and products
• Keep the front of the studio organized, stocked, and looking great
• Package and organize completed projects for pickup
• Help maintain guest records, pickup information, and other studio details
• Assist with retail merchandise and inventory
• Support instructors and the studio team during busy workshops and events
• Help with opening, closing, and general studio organization

• Can confidently answer questions and problem-solve when something unexpected comes up
• Are comfortable learning booking and point-of-sale systems
• Can balance several small tasks without losing track of the guest experience
• Take pride in keeping a space organized and presentable
• Are dependable and comfortable working independently
• Have previous experience in hospitality, retail, customer service, events, or another guest-facing role.

You do not need to be an artist or experienced crafter. For this role, we care much more about finding someone who is personable, capable, and excited about creating a great experience for our guests.

Availability

This is a part-time, in-person position at our Madison, NJ studio. Weekend hours are required as well as some weekday evening availability will be important.

As Ivy Mane Madison grows, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities within the studio.
