Be the face of Brisket Yard

Brisket Yard is looking for a confident, outgoing and energetic Customer Experience Host to join our weekend team.

This isn't your typical restaurant host role.

We're looking for someone who loves talking to people, has a genuine passion for great food and is comfortable being one of the faces of Brisket Yard — both inside the restaurant and on social media.

You'll welcome guests, create a great atmosphere, introduce new customers to Brisket Yard and regularly appear in our social media content.

What you'll be doing

• Giving every customer a warm, enthusiastic welcome when they arrive at Brisket Yard.
• Engaging with guests throughout their experience — not simply greeting them at the door.
• Confidently approaching people outside the restaurant, introducing them to Brisket Yard and encouraging them to come in and try our food.
• Talking enthusiastically about our menu, our smoked meats and what makes the Brisket Yard experience different.
• Appearing regularly in Brisket Yard's social media content.
• Speaking confidently and naturally to camera.
• Presenting dishes and talking about our food in short-form videos.
• Taking part in fun, engaging content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
• Interacting with customers and encouraging them to get involved with content where appropriate.
• Working with the wider team to create a lively, welcoming atmosphere during our busiest weekend evenings.

Who we're looking for

Personality is a big part of this role.

We're looking for someone who is naturally confident, friendly and comfortable approaching people.

You'll ideally be someone who:

• Loves meeting and talking to new people.
• Has a confident, outgoing personality.
• Is comfortable being filmed and speaking directly to camera.
• Can bring energy and personality to social media content.
• Isn't afraid to approach potential customers outside the restaurant and start a conversation.
• Has a genuine passion for BBQ, smoked meats and Texas Smokehouse-style food.
• Enjoys the food and can talk about it enthusiastically and authentically.
• Understands social platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
• Is proactive, positive and able to use their own initiative.
• Is reliable and available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.

Previous hospitality, customer service, promotional or social media experience would be an advantage, but confidence, personality and enthusiasm are more important to us.

Friday: 5:00pm–10:00pm
Saturday: 5:00pm–10:00pm
Sunday: 5:00pm–10:00pm
