Bilingual Insurance Agent – Paid Training Available

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Bilingual Insurance Agent to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with customers, and interested in building a career in the insurance industry. Previous insurance experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Applicants who are not currently licensed are welcome to apply; however, they must be willing and able to obtain the required California insurance license within 90 days of employment.

Spanish and English bilingual proficiency is required.

Schedule

This position is scheduled Monday through Saturday, with one weekday off each week.

Saturdays are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients.
• Assist customers with insurance quotes, policy questions, payments, endorsements, and other service needs.
• Evaluate client insurance needs and help identify appropriate coverage options.
• Prepare insurance quotes and explain coverage, deductibles, payment options, and policy terms clearly.
• Follow up with prospective customers regarding quotes and insurance needs.
• Generate new business through incoming leads, outbound calls, referrals, and customer follow-up.
• Assist clients with insurance applications and required documentation.
• Communicate professionally with insurance carriers and underwriting departments when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and detailed customer records.
• Document client communications, policy changes, and follow-up activity in our agency management system.
• Provide bilingual assistance to Spanish-speaking clients.
• Follow company procedures and applicable insurance regulations.
• Meet established customer service, sales, and follow-up expectations.

Systems We Use

Experience with the following systems is a plus, but training will be provided:

• HawkSoft – Agency Management / CRM
• ITC TurboRater – Insurance quoting
• RingCentral – Phone and client text communication

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish – required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Comfortable speaking with customers by phone, text, and in person
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
• Ability to multitask and prioritize customer needs
• Basic computer and data-entry skills
• Previous insurance, customer service, retail sales, or telemarketing experience is preferred but not required
• Must be willing to work Saturdays
• Must be able to work at both the North Hills and Sylmar locations as needed

Licensing Requirement

A current California insurance license is preferred but not required at the time of hire.

Candidates hired without an insurance license will be provided an opportunity to train and must successfully obtain the required insurance license within 90 days of their start date in order to continue performing licensed insurance duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
