Customer Management Executive

About the role

MEI Technology is looking for a Customer Management Executive to support our customers and coordinate their projects from planning through follow-up. You will be a key contact for customer enquiries and work closely with internal teams to keep activities on track.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, respond to enquiries promptly, and follow through on requests.
• Identify issues early and escalate them to the appropriate team for timely resolution.
• Coordinate project milestones and schedules, track progress, and help resolve scheduling or delivery conflicts.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to align on requirements, updates and next steps.
• Provide sales and account management support, including customer follow-up and maintaining accurate customer data.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business, Electronics, Engineering or a related field. Candidates with relevant customer management experience and basic knowledge of electronic components will also be considered.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese to support customer and internal discussions.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector, familiarity with ODB++ or AutoCAD, and the ability to communicate in Malay are preferred.
• Occasional travel may be required, approximately two to three times a year, when necessary.
