Customer Operations Analyst

About the role

Location: Auckland or Wellington

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you'll provide accurate, timely reporting and analysis that supports operational performance and enhances the learner experience. Working across systems such as SIMS, the e-Learning Hub, and Power BI, you'll help stakeholders understand and utilise data to make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Producing and maintaining operational and strategic reports
• Analysing learner and programme performance data
• Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Supporting reporting requests across the business
• Providing meaningful data insights to stakeholders
• Supporting staff capability in reporting tools and data interpretation
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and enhanced business performance

About you

• At least three years' experience in data analysis, reporting, or business administration
• Experience working with databases, business systems, and reporting platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
• Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to present data in a clear and meaningful way
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience within vocational education, training, or a related sector would be advantageous
