Customer Quality Assurance Engineer

Your future job:

As a Customer Quality Assurance Engineer at Melexis, you will perform a comprehensive technical analysis, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing reliability and qualification tests, supporting data-driven decisions, and generating 8D reports. You will act as an interface with customers to lead the problem-solving process and drive improvement activities.

You will work in a highly technical environment, combining failure analysis, data-driven problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration, with direct impact on customer satisfaction and product reliability.

More specifically, you will:

• Act as the main point of contact for customers on quality topics, ensuring clear communication, structured follow-up, and timely reporting.
• Lead and coordinate problem-solving activities, including root cause analysis on product and process level, using structured methodologies.
• Coordinate and interpret electrical testing and failure analysis on integrated circuits, including data interpretation and validation of results.
• Apply risk assessment techniques in line with automotive standards and ensure proper documentation and traceability.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions internally and with suppliers, ensuring effective and sustainable implementation.
• Drive improvement initiatives aimed at reducing failures and enhancing product and process robustness.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure feedback loops and prevent recurrence of issues.
• Build strong working relationships with customers, developing trust through technical expertise and responsiveness.

Your profile:

• University degree in Electronics, Physics, Microelectronics, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within quality, testing, or failure analysis, ideally in a semiconductor or electronics environment
• Previous experience in the field of electronics, preferred in IC/module failure analysis techniques, IC/module test flow, etc, will be considered a strong advantage
• Ability to link potential failure modes with appropriate stress test methods
• Experience in customer communication and managing quality-related topics in an international environment
• Strong ownership mindset and accountability for results
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving approach
• Ability to work with uncertainty and incomplete data in a structured way
• Ability to coordinate across functions and manage multiple stakeholders
• Fluency in English.
