Customer Quality Engineer

Cooperate with customer to deal with quality complain, organize root cause analysis, quality improvement, prevent action, provide 8D report; customer opinion survey

Principal Accountabilities:

1. ‌Handle customer feedback‌: CQE needs to handle customer complaints and feedback, conduct failure analysis on defective products and propose solutions. They need to collect detailed information on failed samples, such as batch number, production and shipment date, defective quantity, etc., to determine the nature of the problem and take preliminary containment measures, such as strengthening inspections, isolating products, and stopping production lines.
2. ‌Customer satisfaction survey‌: Regularly conduct customer satisfaction surveys, evaluate and identify improvement opportunities, and propose long-term improvement countermeasures. They also need to accompany customers for factory audits, record and solve key problems, and follow up on the progress of processing.
3. ‌Submit reports and improvement results‌: CQE needs to submit weekly and monthly reports and return analysis improvement reports, and regularly report work progress and improvement results to superiors.
4. ‌Technical analysis and improvement measures‌: Conduct technical analysis of customer complaints and follow up on the implementation of improvement measures, assist in solving technical problems raised by customers, and be responsible for technical support and guidance for customers.
5. Preventive measures and improvement mechanisms‌: Responsible for preventing quality anomalies, tracking the implementation of abnormal improvement measures, ensuring the effectiveness of measures, and making internal improvements through FMEA tools to promote 8D improvement measures.
6. ‌Communication and coordination‌: As the first person responsible for communication, CQE needs to maintain and enhance relationships with customers and build trust; internally, drive internal improvements through customer complaints and feedback to improve quality levels.

Qualification:

Formal Education

• Bachelor's degree in Material, Machine, Electronic, Energy, Chemical Engineering, Quality Management, Project Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Work Experience

• At least 3 years of experience as a CQE/PQE  in the automotive industry or assembly industry, with priority given to candidates with experience in the new energy industry.

Specific Qualification for Position:

• Engineering experience in Material / machine / electronic / energy / Chemical Engineering / Quality Management
• Strong familiarity with quality tools such as APQP, QC analysis tools.
• Excellent risk awareness, engineering ability, and project management skills.
• Solid understanding of quality management principles, standards, and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Speaking and writing skills in Chinese are an advantage.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
• Strong observation, adaptability, and communication skills.
