Customer Quality Engineering (CQE)

About the role

Act as the primary contact for customers regarding quality and technical matters. Coordinate with customers, overseas factories, and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer complaint management, SCAR handling, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Monitor and follow up on customer requirements, quality performance, and improvement action plans
• Organize and facilitate regular meetings with customers and internal teams to review issues, progress, and quality performance
• Prepare and communicate investigation results, corrective actions, and improvement status to customers and internal stakeholders
• Drive customer satisfaction through timely communication, effective coordination, and proactive issue resolution
• Provide customer audit support, including on-site audits and overseas MGF audit activities

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Industrial, Electronics, Electrical, Manufacturing, Materials, or Chemical Engineering; Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical fields
• Minimum 1 years of experience in CQE, QA/QC, Manufacturing Engineering, Customer Support, or related fields
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality tools, including 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, and RCCA
• Experience in customer complaint handling, SCAR management, and root cause analysis
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
• Good command of spoken and written English, with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet customer deadlines
• Experience in electronics, HDD, or precision manufacturing industries, including plating processes, module, and electronic components is preferred
• Japanese proficiency is an advantage
