Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assess their automotive service needs with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Provide detailed explanations of vehicle repairs, estimates, and service options using estimating software and automotive diagnostics tools
• Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, and other mechanical repairs to enhance customer value
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate service writing and timely completion of repairs while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards
• Manage client communication effectively, keeping customers informed about repair progress and addressing any questions or concerns promptly
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation of all sales and service activities
• Support company operations by assisting with vehicle inspections, estimating repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards

Experience

• Proven experience in automotive repair or service technician roles with a strong mechanical background
• Familiarity with company operations, auto service management, and repair processes
• Proficiency in estimating software and computer-aided vehicle estimating tools
• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, shocks & struts, brake repair, suspension work, and other mechanical repairs
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; driving experience is essential
• Prior experience in auto estimating or sales within an automotive service environment is highly desirable

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
