What they need

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Some people are naturally good with people. They listen carefully, explain things clearly and help others feel at ease. We’re looking for a Customer Service Advisor who enjoys meeting people, understanding their needs and creating positive customer experiences through friendly, professional communication. In this face-to-face role, you’ll answer questions, explain relevant brands, products or services, and help customers explore suitable options, with opportunities to develop your skills through practical experience and training.
The Qualities We Value
- Empathy: Understanding different needs and perspectives.
- Active listening: Giving customers attention without making assumptions.
- Patience: Taking time to explain information clearly.
- Communication: Speaking confidently, politely and professionally.
- Problem-solving: Looking for practical ways to help.
- Reliability: Being punctual and following through on responsibilities.
- Emotional awareness: Responding thoughtfully to different situations.
- Professionalism: Representing the business positively in every interaction.
Previous customer service experience is welcome but not essential. A willingness to learn, a considerate approach and an interest in working with people are more important than having worked in a particular industry.
We’ll Help You Build Confidence
Training will introduce the relevant brands, products and services, along with the standards expected during customer interactions. You’ll have opportunities to observe experienced colleagues, practise conversations and learn how to handle common questions.
Ongoing one-to-one coaching and constructive feedback will help strengthen communication skills and build confidence as you become more familiar with the role.
What Comes With the Role?
- Competitive base pay, with performance-related rewards where applicable.
- Practical training and ongoing coaching.
- Support from colleagues as you settle into the role.
- Recognition for positive contributions and good work.
- Team activities and company social events.
- Opportunities to develop customer service and communication skills, with scope to take on additional responsibilities over time.
Ready to Make a Difference?
If you enjoy meeting people, listening to their needs and helping them leave a conversation feeling informed and supported, we’d be happy to hear from you.
