We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Customer Service & Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who enjoys taking ownership, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple projects and stakeholders.

This role is ideally suited to someone with experience in customer operations, construction administration, sales support, logistics coordination, or account management who is looking to play an influential role within a successful and growing business.

The Role

Reporting to senior management, you will take responsibility for managing key customer accounts, coordinating installation requirements, and ensuring projects progress efficiently from order placement through to completion.

You will act as a key point of contact for trade customers, national housebuilders, and site managers, ensuring a consistently high level of service while identifying opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders from receipt through to successful delivery and installation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade customers, housebuilders, contracts managers, and site personnel.
  • Coordinate site call-offs, installation schedules, and operational requirements to meet customer deadlines.
  • Monitor order progress and proactively resolve issues or delays.
  • Manage customer enquiries, complaints, and service-related matters professionally and efficiently.
  • Liaise closely with internal departments including sales, logistics, purchasing, and installation teams.
  • Ensure customer records, order information, and project details are accurate and up to date.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and operational efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues where required.
  • Produce reports and updates for management on customer activity and project status.

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a customer service, operations, planning, project coordination, or account management role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence dealing with customers, contractors, site managers, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Good commercial awareness and a customer-first mindset.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience within construction, manufacturing, distribution, or a trade-focused environment would be advantageous.

  • Free on-site parking
  • Flexible working hours within office operating times
  • Supportive and collaborative working environment
  • Opportunities for career development and progression
