Customer Service & Order Support Assistant

Black Gold Sports Cards is looking for a friendly, organized Customer Service & Order Support Assistant to help customers get clear answers and resolve questions about their purchases.

You’ll handle customer messages, review order information, and coordinate with our team to address shipping questions and order issues. We’re looking for someone who communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and follows through until a question is resolved. An interest in sports cards is a plus, but you don’t need to be a hobby expert.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer messages through eBay and other sales channels in a timely, professional manner.
• Answer questions about orders, shipping status, tracking, and delivery updates.
• Review order records carefully so customers receive accurate information.
• Help investigate missing items, incorrect orders, shipping delays, and other order-related concerns.
• Coordinate with the fulfillment team to confirm details and communicate next steps.
• Maintain clear notes on customer conversations, open issues, and follow-up actions.
• Route refund requests, disputes, and issues requiring approval to the appropriate team member.
• Follow up on unresolved concerns and keep customers informed.
• Identify recurring issues and share feedback that can improve the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Clear written communication with a friendly, professional tone.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
• Patience and good judgment when helping frustrated or confused customers.
• Comfort using computers, online marketplaces, and order-tracking tools.
• Ability to manage multiple conversations without losing track of outstanding issues.
• Willingness to learn our products, policies, and processes.

Previous customer service, e-commerce, retail, or order-support experience is helpful. Familiarity with eBay, sports cards, or collectibles is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
