NY Events is a direct marketing and sales company based in Midtown Manhattan. We represent national brands at in-person events and retail locations throughout New York City, helping customers learn about and sign up for our client's services.

About the role

We are hiring Customer Service & Sales Associates to work directly with customers. You will meet customers at events and retail locations, answer their questions, and help them choose and sign up for services that fit their needs. Prior sales experience is not required. All new team members complete training before working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers at events and retail locations
• Ask questions to understand each customer's needs
• Explain service options clearly and accurately
• Help customers complete sign-ups
• Provide a friendly, professional customer experience
• Work with your team to meet daily and weekly goals

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales
• Clear communication skills and a professional attitude
• Comfortable speaking with customers throughout the day
• Reliable, punctual, and open to coaching
• Able to commute to Midtown Manhattan and work Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm

Compensation and benefits

• $800–$1,200 per week

• Consistent weekday schedule with weekends off
