Customer Service Associate

About the Position

The UPS Store is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Customer Service Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, works well in a fast-paced environment, and has strong communication skills. Every day is different, with responsibilities ranging from shipping packages to printing projects and assisting mailbox customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude
• Process UPS and USPS shipments
• Pack items professionally to ensure safe delivery
• Assist customers with Amazon and other return services
• Operate cash register and process payments accurately
• Print, copy, scan, fax, and complete other document services
• Assist with mailbox rentals and package pickups
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment
• Learn and follow shipping procedures and store policies
• Work as part of a team to meet daily operational goals
• Become a notary public with store commitment for at least 6 months

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with no help
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Previous work experience

Preferred Skills

• Shipping or packing experience
• Printing or office services experience
• Cash handling experience
• Bilingual is a plus
