Retail Sales Associate – The UPS Store (South Tampa Logistics)

We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales through upselling and cross-selling, and supporting daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting every customer and identifying their needs
• Process shipments (UPS, USPS, Amazon returns, etc.) accurately and efficiently
• Educate customers on products and services, including packaging, printing, mailbox services, and notary
• Actively upsell and cross-sell services to increase sales and enhance the customer experience
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily POS operations responsibly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment
• Assist with printing, copying, and finishing services
• Follow all company SOPs, including packing standards, safety procedures, and compliance requirements
• Support team members and contribute to a positive, high-energy work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn POS systems
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Sales-driven mindset with attention to detail
• Willingness to learn shipping, printing, and business service operations

Preferred (but not required):

• Notary Public (or willingness to become one)
• Experience with shipping, printing, or logistics services

Work Location: In person

Pay: $14.00 - $14.75 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 24.0 per week
