Customer Service Associate

About the Role

The person is responsible to handle client coordination, documentation of government requirements and monitoring of shipments.

Key Accountabilities

• Booking management, handling, monitoring, and updating to customer.
• Handling of day-to-day bookings (import/export/customs clearance, local transfers, domestic/inter-island and triangular), updates, and monitoring of shipments from point of departure until arrival at destination.
• Monitors the execution of shipments (from pick up, flight/sailing schedule, arrival at destination, hand over to broker, customs clearance until delivery with POD)
• Coordinate to DP World vendors (carriers, co-loaders, brokers, trucking team)
• Monitor on time return of containers (empty) for import.
• On time sending of pre alerts
• BL creation/checking/validation
• Filling of manifest (inbound shipments)

Qualifications, Skills and Experience​s

• Bachelor’s degree in Custom Administration or Logistics
• With experience as customer service assistant/ staff in any freight forwarding company
• Knowledgeable in client coordination, documentation and monitoring of shipments
• With good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office
