Customer Service Exec (East, Freight Forwarding)

Our client, an established international logistics and freight forwarding organisation, is looking for an Customer Service Executive (AIRFREIGHT) to join its Singapore operations team.

This role is suitable for candidates with experience in air freight forwarding who are looking to develop their operational exposure within a large and structured logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day air freight import and/or export shipments
• Coordinate shipment arrangements with customers, carriers, overseas partners and internal teams
• Arrange bookings and monitor shipments from collection through to final delivery
• Prepare and verify relevant shipping and freight documentation
• Follow up on shipment schedules and provide timely status updates
• Coordinate customs clearance, transportation and delivery arrangements when required
• Handle shipment delays, discrepancies and other operational issues
• Ensure shipment information and documentation are updated accurately
• Maintain good communication with customers and operational stakeholders
• Support the team in ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and within required timelines

Requirements

• Experience in air freight forwarding, logistics or freight operations is preferred
• Knowledge of air freight import and/or export processes will be advantageous
• Candidates with relevant logistics or supply chain experience are welcome to apply
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to manage multiple shipments and priorities
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently as well as within a team
