Customer Service Executive

About the role

Handle customer enquiries, sales support requests, and quotation preparation for air and ocean freight shipments. Manage import, export, cross-trade, oversized cargo, and cross-border trucking enquiries and arrangements. Coordinate with internal departments, customers, overseas agents, and operations teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries, sales support requests, and quotation preparation for air and ocean freight shipments
• Manage import, export, cross-trade, oversized cargo, and cross-border trucking enquiries and arrangements
• Coordinate with internal departments, customers, overseas agents, operations teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment execution
• Liaise with carriers, airlines, shipping line, agents for booking and shipment updates
• Prepare competitive pricing, RFQs, and freight solutions based on customer and project requirements
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of shipping documents, reports, and customer records
• Support key accounts by responding to service requests and resolving shipment-related issues promptly
• Handle customer complaints professionally and provide effective solutions
• Maintain service quality and customer satisfaction by following standard procedures and preventing recurring issues

About you

• Minimum Diploma with 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, customer service, or sales support
• Knowledgeable of air freight, sea freight, import, export, or cross-trade shipment procedures
• Good communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
