About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Executive to join our dynamic Customer Connect team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer support and maintaining our reputation for excellence. As a Customer Service Executive, you will be the first point of contact for our valued clients, ensuring their queries are resolved promptly and professionally whilst representing the Urban Hygienist brand with integrity and enthusiasm.

Key responsibilities

• Handling outgoing customer calls and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
• Providing accurate information about our hygiene and wellness products and services
• Processing customer orders, requests, and complaints efficiently
• Documenting customer interactions and maintaining detailed records in our system
• Resolving customer issues and escalating complex matters to appropriate departments when necessary
• Following company procedures and quality standards to ensure consistent service delivery
• Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell relevant products and services
• Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Meeting and exceeding performance targets and key performance indicators
• Providing feedback to management regarding common customer concerns and suggestions for improvement

What we're looking for

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with clarity and professionalism
• Strong customer service mindset with a genuine desire to help and satisfy customers
• Ability to handle multiple calls and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Patience and composure when dealing with challenging customer situations
• Proficiency in using computer systems and call centre software
• Attention to detail and accuracy when processing information and documentation
• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and support colleagues
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
• Malaysian language proficiency; additional languages are advantageous
• Ability to work in a structured environment and adhere to company policies
• Previous customer service or call centre experience is preferred but not essential
• SPM or equivalent qualification or higher
