Customer Service Executive

Job Description for Freight Forwarding Customer Service Executive:

• Handle customer queries and provide timely updates on shipments.
• Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, agents, and internal teams.
• Track shipments and communicate shipment status to customers.
• Handle freight forwarding documentation and shipment-related activities.
• Follow up on pending documents, shipment schedules, and delivery updates.
• Resolve customer issues and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications and shipment details.
• Ensure timely follow-up and provide professional customer service.
• Candidates with relevant freight forwarding experience are required for this position.

Job Requirements

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in freight forwarding / shipping customer service.
• Freight forwarding experience is mandatory.
• Strong communication skills with customers through phone and email.
• Good multitasking, coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of shipping terms, including Incoterms, and basic import/export procedures.
• Experience in handling shipment-related documentation and customer queries.
• Software: Experience with S.Line / shipping or logistics portals and Microsoft Office.
