Customer Service Executive (Freight Forwarding / Sales Support)

• Position: Customer Service Executive (Freight Forwarding/ Sales Support)
• Location: Bukit Merah
• Working Hours: 5 days, 8.30am to 5.00pm
• Salary: Up to $4,500 + Variable Bonus
• Employment Type: Permanent
• Industry: Freight Forwarding / Logistics

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer enquiries and provide timely, accurate shipment updates.
• Coordinate bookings, shipping documentation and operational follow-up with internal teams, overseas partners and service providers.
• Monitor shipment progress, resolve service issues promptly and maintain accurate records.
• Support day-to-day sales activities, including preparing sales materials and following up on customer enquiries.
• Work closely with the Billing Team to confirm payment receipt and follow up professionally on outstanding invoices.
• Assist colleagues when needed to ensure customers receive consistent service.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ relevant customer-service experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
• Working knowledge of shipping documentation, Incoterms and customs processes.
• Strong communication, coordination and multitasking ability in a time-sensitive environment.
• Careful, responsible and cooperative working style.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken, to handle business correspondence, quotations, service updates and follow-up communication with an existing customer group that primarily communicates in Mandarin.
