Customer Service Executive (Liner)

About the role

Responsible for handling day-to-day customer service and documentation activities for the liner/container business, ensuring smooth and timely coordination with customers, internal departments, and relevant parties.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily customer service activities for container/liner operations.
• Prepare and issue Bill of Lading (B/L) and other shipping-related documentation.
• Coordinate with customers regarding booking, shipment details, documentation and vessel schedules.
• Follow up on shipping instructions and ensure documents are accurate and issued within the required timeline.
• Liaise with internal departments, shipping agents, terminals and other relevant parties to resolve operational matters.
• Handle customers' enquiries and provide timely updates on shipment status.
• Maintain proper records of bookings, shipments and documentation.
• Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in accordance with company procedures.

About you

• Experience in liner/shipping/container operations is preferred.
• Familiar with Bill of Lading (B/L) issuance and shipping documentation.
• Good understanding of day-to-day container shipping processes.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
