Customer Service Executive (Project Logistics)

YOUR ROLE

The incumbent will be part of a larger team within the Project Logistics department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

·       To act as focal point for all customer’s queries (Commercial / Service related)

·       To always ensure compliance with Customer’s SOP

·       Coordinate and arrange day-to-day operations and transactions for freight forwarding and other related activities (Arrange bookings with carriers / co-loaders and execute all pertinent shipping documents eg. Commercial Invoice & Packing List, AWB / BL issuance, import/export Permits, COO issuance, Shipping order, trucking instruction, arrange fumigation, shipping certificate, subsidiary certificate, forwarder cargo receipt, export subsidiary certificate, BIETC, CNCA, COC, ECTN, ACID etc.)

·       Manage job file creation, costing and other data entries in Cargowise (TMS)

·       To act as control tower by managing / monitoring shipments arranged by Network offices.

·       Send timely pre-alerts and shipping advice to customers and CEVA network offices

·       Coordinate dispatch of shipping documents to customers and CEVA network offices

·       Assist for rate sourcing with various stakeholders for services not in the customer’s contract and to quote to the customer for rates acceptance

·       Preparation and submission of OHR, Shipment Status Report and any other reports as required by the customer

·       To arrange cargo pick up/delivery locally for/from consolidation warehouse or supplier location.

·       To prepare Material Receipt (if needed), Release to Pack, Delivery Ticket, CIPL from Logiswift WMS send to warehouse & customer

·       To prepare monthly sub-certificates / Notes of shipment, storage report for billing purpose.

·       To work with regional team for data quality related matters

·       Ensure proper and timely billing / closing of all job files

·       QHSE

o   Participate in the set-up and follow-up of internal standard procedures to enhance productivity and transparency

o   Maintain acceptable Health, Safety and Environmental risk levels in his/her area of responsibility

o   Ensure the compliance with applicable legal requirements

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Essential

·       Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent

·       Must be able to work independently and as well as a team player

·       Minimum 3 Years Experience in Freight Forwarding (Seafreight and Airfreight)

·       Possess Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       DG Trained (IATA, IMDG)

·       Excellent sales & communication skills (verbal and written)

Desirable

·       Bachelor in Supply Chain Management or equivalent

·       Air freight / Sea freight forwarding experience preferred

·       Projects Experience is a plus

·       Strong analytical, conceptualization and problem-solving skills

·       Industry expertise (Projects and/ or Energy and/or Marine)

·       Financial Skills

·       DG Certified (IATA,, IMDG)

·       Excellent sales & communication skills (verbal and written)
