About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service (Freight Forwarding) representative to join our vibrant team at our Raffles Place office in the Central Region. This is a fantastic opportunity for fresh graduates looking to launch their career in the freight forwarding and logistics industry. This is a full-time position where you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing outstanding support, resolving inquiries, and contributing to the overall success of our operations. You will work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment where your communication skills and attention to detail will be highly valued.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries via telephone, email, and other communication channels with professionalism and efficiency
• Provide accurate information regarding freight forwarding services, shipping options, rates, and schedules to clients
• Process customer requests including shipment bookings, documentation, and cargo tracking with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer records and documentation in compliance with company procedures
• Coordinate with internal departments, including operations and logistics teams, to ensure timely resolution of customer issues
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates and status reports to clients
• Assist with the preparation and filing of freight forwarding documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and contribute suggestions for service improvements
• Support the team with administrative tasks as required to maintain smooth office operations

What we're looking for

• Experience or fresh graduates welcome
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to articulate information clearly to diverse clients
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems quickly
• A customer-focused mindset with genuine enthusiasm for providing exceptional service
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data entry
• Problem-solving attitude and willingness to take initiative in resolving client concerns
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and adapt to a dynamic workplace
• Basic understanding of logistics, freight forwarding, or international trade is a plus but not essential
