Customer Service - ocean freight

Responsibility

• Monitor the status of assigned shipments across the full ocean freight lifecycle from booking confirmation to final delivery.

• Communicate proactively with customers on shipment progress, delays, and exceptions.

• Respond to customer queries accurately and within agreed response time SLAs.

• Coordinate with the documentation and booking teams to resolve shipment issues.

• Log exceptions and escalate unresolved issues to the Customer Service Supervisor in a timely manner.

• Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems as required.

• Support preparation of customer-facing reports and shipment status summaries.

• Follow established SOPs for all customer communication and exception handling activities.

Required

• 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service, logistics, or freight forwarding.

• Basic understanding of ocean freight operations and shipment documentation.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Thai.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics tracking tools.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple active shipments simultaneously.

Preferred

• Familiarity with Cargoo or equivalent ocean freight transport platforms.

• Familiarity with Incoterms and FCL shipment processes.

• English language proficiency.
