Customer Service Officer

About the role

Customer Service position on a 12 months contract basis, extendable subject to project requirement, with a shift. The role involves handling customer inquiries across phone, email, and chat channels for banking services, processing secure customer requests, and promoting banking products and digital self-service tools.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phone, email, or chat inquiries regarding bank accounts, loans, and credit cards
• Process secure customer requests, fund transfers, and data updates accurately
• Promote banking products, digital self-service tools, and credit services
• Meet performance targets for call resolution, service quality, and adherence

Shift and Work Schedule

• PM Shifts: Typical blocks such as 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight).
• Rotation: Includes weekends and public holidays on a rotating pattern, typically with one weekday off and one weekend off.
• Compensation: Often includes monthly shift allowances.

About you

• Minimum GCE O-Levels or Diploma qualifications
• Professional telephone etiquette and active listening capabilities
• Ability to work rotating or staggered shift patterns
• Experience in customer service, inbound/outbound calls, customer support, telesales, or contact centre operations
• Prior banking or call center experience is an advantage, though entry-level applicants are often welcomed
