Customer Service Officer

About the role

The Laundry Club has cared for Singapore's garments since 1998. We are hiring a Customer Service Officer to be the link between our customers, our outlets and our factory operations team. You will answer enquiries, arrange pick-ups and deliveries, and make sure every order is priced right and goes out right. You will report to the General Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries, sales calls and service requests.
• Answer price enquiries and send quotations, mostly over WhatsApp and some by email.
• Schedule and coordinate pick-ups and deliveries.
• Check and price laundry orders accurately.
• Coordinate with the factory operations team on order status, urgent jobs and special instructions.
• Handle feedback and complaints calmly: look into what happened with the factory team, explain the outcome clearly, and escalate when needed.
• Work with the Operations Manager to resolve recurring issues and raise service standards.

About you

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Clear, friendly written English, as most customer conversations happen over WhatsApp.
• Able to converse in Mandarin, as many of our customers are Mandarin-speaking.
• Organised and accurate with orders, pricing and schedules.
• Calm and tactful with customers, including when expectations need to be managed.
• Comfortable with computers and mobile-based systems.

Working hours

• Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm
• Saturday, 9am – 1pm
• Sundays and public holidays off
