Customer Service Officer / Trainee

Northern Areas Council is currently looking for either an experienced Customer Service Officer or a Trainee to join our team.  Based in Jamestown, this exciting opportunity offers a full-time office position for an experienced person or a Trainee role for up to 18 months, with progression to Customer Service Officer subject to satisfactory performance.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• A stong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
• A strong customer service focus and enjoys connecting with the community.
• Good attention to detail, organised and manages time well.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.

The sucessful candidate will have the option to complete a Certificate III in Business Administration, fully funded by Council.  You will work Monday to Friday and have some allocated time during work hours to study.
