Job Summary

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is seeking qualified Special Agents to conduct federal investigations, gather and analyze information, and support national security and federal law-enforcement operations. Special Agents work on complex cases involving federal crimes and other matters within the FBI's jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and interviews.
• Collect, document, and evaluate investigative information.
• Prepare detailed reports and case documentation.
• Work with federal, state, and local law-enforcement partners.
• Conduct surveillance and other authorized investigative activities.
• Appear in court and provide testimony when required.
• Protect sensitive information and follow FBI policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional standards while working on complex investigations.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree or qualifying professional experience.
• Meet FBI employment, background-investigation, and suitability requirements.
• Meet applicable physical-fitness and medical requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Willingness to travel and accept assignments based on FBI operational needs.
