As an employer of choice, the Western Australia Police Force has a number of benefits to offer that can enrich your employment experience.

In addition to your agreed salary and employer superannuation contributions, the WA Police Force offers stability, growth and learning opportunities, work-life balance opportunities, flexible leave options, salary packaging and a fit for life program.

The Police Assistance Centre is a busy, 24hr x 7 days per week environment. The full time positions operate under shift work arrangements working 10 hours per day.  The average number of days worked each week equates to four days, with Customer Service Operators within the Police Assistance Centre working a 12 week cyclic roster that has been designed with work life balance in mind to maximise rostered days off. The requirement to undertake shift work also attracts generous penalties in accordance with the Award conditions.

Initial training for this challenging and rewarding role takes eight to ten weeks (Monday to Friday).  The training course is designed to complement and build on your existing skills to prepare you for a career making a substantial difference to the West Australian community managing calls received via Triple Zero (000) and 131444.

This is a pool recruitment process (Ref 01195). This pool will run for a period of twelve (12) months and may be used to fill ongoing fixed term contracts, secondments, acting/relieving and permanent opportunities (full and part time).

There are currently multiple positions available, the WA Police Force intends to fill via this pool process.
