Customer Service Representative / Car Rental Agent

Looking for steady weekday work with a close-knit team? Affordable Rent-A-Car is a family-owned company that has served Salt Lake City for more than 30 years. We’re looking for a friendly, dependable person who enjoys helping customers and keeping things organized.

As a Rental Agent, you’ll help customers from their first reservation through their vehicle return. You’ll explain rental options, handle paperwork and payments, and help make each rental a smooth experience.

What you’ll do

• Help customers in person, over the phone, and by email.
• Create and update reservations and rental agreements.
• Process vehicle checkouts, returns, and payments.
• Verify driver’s licenses, insurance, and required documents.
• Clearly explain rental rates, policies, and additional charges.
• Handle customer questions and concerns professionally.
• Keep accurate records and help with daily office tasks.

What we’re looking for

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• A friendly attitude and clear communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to stay organized.
• Comfort using computers and processing payments.
• A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Customer service experience is helpful, but it isn’t required. We’ll provide on-the-job training.
