Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to customer inquiries and process purchase orders.
• Manage inventory levels for assigned customers to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
• Complete and maintain accurate product specifications for each customer and part.
• Enter work orders and shipping releases into the management information system (MIS).
• Analyze and input material chemistries and physical properties according to customer specifications.
• Communicate regularly with customers via email and phone to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Update and maintain customer-requested documents and enter information into customer portals as required.
• Coordinate product trials and changes with customers, quality, and production scheduling teams.
• Analyze information from customer portals to support decision-making and service delivery.
• Forecast material needs based on customer requirements.
• Complete assigned projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with computers, including database management, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Sales experience and college coursework are a plus, but not required.
