Customer Service Representative

About the role

Akarana Timbers Christchurch is seeking someone with proven trade support experience who is passionate about the building industry and customer experience. You'll have an end-to-end solution focused mindset, strong technical and building product knowledge, great communication skills and be driven to help grow sales with new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Take and process orders and put together quotes quickly
• Work with suppliers on pricing and placing special orders for non-stock product
• Work with the yard and dispatch to ensure orders are picked and delivered on time in full
• Work closely with customers and Account Managers

About you

• Proven trade support experience
• Passionate about the building industry and customer experience
• Strong technical and building product knowledge
• Great communication skills
• Full Drivers Licence
• Legal right to work in NZ indefinitely
